local show scene
Well we are in the midst of our local show scene, well nearly over. So much for keeping this updated. We have been showing three to four of our team with pleasing results. S.P. Frolic is taking to being a show horse with ease. Rosearie Sunsprite has been taken along for her led classes and to get her used to being a show pony.

Foaling news

We welcome our first foal for the season and lovely bay/brown filly to be called Springtime Park First Love. She is now the fifth foal by Rotherwood Footlight from Springtime Park Cherry Lane and possibly the biggest to date.

Toowoomba Royal March 2009

Oscar made his Royal Debut at this years Toowoomba Royal in March. He had a fantastic show with 5 breed classes for 4 Champions and 1 Reserve Champion. He was capably led by Mr Mark Lilley, who we are so grateful to. He also made his Debut under saddle with a win in the Derivative Stallion, a 2nd out of 10 in the Newcomer Riding Pony and a 2nd in Ridden Saddle Pony Stallion. He was a pleasure to have at the show and did us very proud.


Qld State Riding Pony Show April 2009

At the Qld State Riding Pony Oscar had his led class for a 1st and Reserve Champion Led Younstock Colt. He also had his ridden Newcomer for a 3rd.

Qld Challenge Show May 2009

In May we headed back up to Toowoomba for the Qld State Arabian Show. This time Oscar had company with his weanling full sister S.P. Olympia. They both had a fabulous show with Olympia winning her led class and Oscar getting a second and reserve Champion. Oscar also competed in his ridden classes with great results.
