Rotherwood footlight (IMP UK)

Rotherwood Footlight is a Section A Riding Pony Stallion, who should need no introduction to riding pony enthusiasts. He is widely considered one of the foundation sires of the Australion Riding Pony Stud Book. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to purchase Footlight mid 2003.

He is the sire of such fabulous ponies as Urubula Regal Promise, Beaufort Legend (Champion Hack Sydney Royal), Beaufort Illusion, many other successful Beaufort horses, Murrum Park Phantom (spectacular pony dressage and open pony Hack, recently export to the UK and selected on their dressage squad), Kirra Kai Dance for Me, Supreme 2yr Old Exhibit Brisbane Royal, Rothwell Toy Town, Rothwell Kind Regards and many other Rothwell bred horses. The list goes on and then to add his grand get we could fill pages.

Footy has a fabulous temperament and we couldn't have asked for a nicer Stallion to teach us the ropes. He currently resides in a large paddock, with one or two mares. We hand serve all our mares and he is such a gentlemen with his ladies. The photo's included on this page were taken at the ripe old age of 26yrs young. He is still so vibrant in spirit and personality and fluid in his movement, which is a testament to his breeding and conformation.
